Staged every two years and alternating between summer and winter sporting events, the Manitoba Games powered by Manitoba Hydro is the largest ongoing multi-sport event in the province.
The host community, as well as thousands of Manitobans who participate in Games, benefit from the legacies that are created and left behind.
The Manitoba Games involve more than 2,500 athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers participating in twelve sports across eight venues. These Games represent a crucial opportunity for young athletes to square up against top-tier provincial competition and find out what it takes to reach national and international sporting stages.

True Sport
True Sport is dedicated to the notion that good sport can make a great difference. It is True Sport’s mission to deliver programs and initiatives that:
Enable participants, parents, coaches and officials to articulate and act upon their deeply held belief in the virtues of good sport
Enable participants, parents, coaches and officials to identify with others holding similar values
Create a fair, safe and open atmosphere where good sport can grow stronger through inclusive competition at all levels.
To achieve these goals, we promote seven True Sport Principles to strengthen our communities and increase our opportunities for excellence on and off the field of play: Go For It, Play Fair, Respect Others, Keep It Fun, Stay Healthy, Include Everyone, and Give Back.
